Description:
Panadeine Plus is the strongest codeine-based pain reliever available without prescription.

Purpose:
Panadeine is best used for the fast and effective relief of headaches, migraine, back pain, arthritis, rheumatic and muscle pain, neuralgia, toothache, sore throats and period pain. Panadeine also reduces cold, flu and fever symptoms. Panadeine has been specially formulated to combine powerful codeine with the strength of paracetamol (acetaminophen) to provide fast effective relief from strong pain. It is suitable for asthmatics who are sensitive to aspirin, and is Gluten, lactose and sugar free. It works using dual action. It targets both the site of the pain on the body, as well as the pain sensors in the brain, for double action relief. Panadeine does not cause drowsiness so can be taken both night and day.

Active Ingredient:
Each Panadeine Plus caplet contains:
- 15mg Codeine Phosphate
- 500mg Paracetamol (Acetaminophen)
- Potassium sorbate
- No gluten, lactose or sugar
- No calmatives

Dosage:
(Age 12 to Adult) Take TWO Panadeine Plus caplets every FOUR to SIX hours as required with a glass of water.

Daily limit: Take no more than 8 Panadeine Plus caplets in a 24 hour period.

If pain persists or you exceed these doses, seek medical advice promptly.

Contraindications:
Active alcoholism; acute respiratory depression; morphine, oxycodone allergy; diarrhoea assoc with poisoning or pseudomembranous colitis.

Warning:
Renal, hepatic impairment; history of drug abuse; head injury; brain tumour; raised intracranial pressure; CNS depression; decreased respiratory reserve; hypothyroidism; adrenocortical insufficiency; shock; delirium tremens; convulsive disorders (or history); severe inflammatory bowel disease; acute abdominal conditions; prostatic hypertrophy; urethral stricture; recent GI, UT surgery; elderly, debilitated; pregnancy, lactation, children < 7 years. Adverse reactions: Common: constipation; nausea, vomiting; drowsiness; dizziness.

Other Information:
May cause drowsiness. Avoid driving or operating machinery if affected.
